Summary
- No accounts. We don't ask for your name or email to use the site.
- Quiz progress is stored only in your browser (localStorage). It never reaches us. You can clear it with "Reset progress" on the quiz page.
- Images you upload to the AI interpreter are processed to produce your report and are not stored by us.
- Advertising is provided by Google AdSense. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used.
The AI X-ray interpreter
When you upload an image, your browser first resizes it and removes embedded metadata (such as EXIF location data). The image is then sent over an encrypted connection to our server function and on to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the interpretation. We do not save the image or the result. Anthropic processes API data under its commercial terms and does not use it to train models by default; it may retain data for a limited period for trust and safety purposes.
Do not upload images that identify a person. Crop out or cover names, dates of birth, hospital numbers and other identifiers before uploading. Only upload images you have the right to share.
To prevent abuse we process your IP address briefly to apply rate limits. It is not stored with the image.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data, and to object to processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be met by clearing your browser storage. For anything else, contact us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
